Book Direct: Best Rates + Benefits

Cosy Stays in Wandsworth

There’s a million reasons why staying in a pub beats staying in a hotel.

Characterful bedrooms, the warmest welcome, plus great food & drink just a staircase (or an click of the Young’s On Tap app) away.

Our 16 stylish bedrooms are perched on top of our pub, and make a sublime stop-over if you’re passing through Wandsworth. Equally, if you’re planning a more leisurely holiday, then you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s plenty of space for you to unpack your delicates, to sleep any family (or dogs) that may accompany you – oh, and a desk to write your postcards too.

With Clapham Junction being just a short walk away, whizzing you to London Waterloo lickety-split in just 15 minutes, we’re handily located for exploring the Big Smoke. And after a hard day – at work or at play – you can be absolutely sure to enjoy a good night’s sleep (after a brief rummage in the mini bar, perhaps) and wake up to a big breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Wandsworth?

We love our corner of South London and know you will too.

We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in and around Wandsworth that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us.

Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure our hometown props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Wandsworth?

There’s so much. Honestly, so much as we’re lucky to be bang in the middle of Wandsworth. A short walk takes you to Wandsworth Town station, whilst a teeny stroll lands you in the shopping centre.

If you love a coffee, then a wonder down Old York Road to the artisan coffee shops is a must. Perhaps pop into The Alma and say hi to Phil and pub dog Eddie whilst you’re there.

We really do love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here. We’re a really friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm.

If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in, after all).

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

Our Boutique, Boutique Twin, and Bigger Boutique rooms are family-friendly, with space for cots for little ones and fold-out beds for bigger little ones.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Yes, we really love pups and our Boutique and Boutique Twin rooms are dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We don’t have our own parking spaces (we’re just too central for that). But there’s lot of car parks nearby. The closest is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s called APCOA Parking, Wandsworth Southside 2 and costs £13 per 24hrs.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re (almost literally) a hop and a skip from Wandsworth Town train station – just across the road.
